As already mentioned, evolution road training was formed as a result of our own bad experiences working at other training schools. We genuinely believed that we could do better and create a training environment nobody else could match. Two years on, and our CBT, DAS and Instructor Training is well known and highly regarded throughout Hertfordshire, Essex and London. So what makes us different? We trust the following notes clarify this and naturally welcome any further queires you may have: - First and foremost, all evolution Instructors hold the relevant Government qualifications to conduct this course. They are very familiar with delivering training. Other qualifications held by the staff include RoSPA Gold, RoSPA Diplomas (with distinction), Private Pilot Licences, Teaching qualifications, Financial Services Authority Diplomas, Armed Service/Police training.
- We operate from a unique 3.5 acre site which includes its own extensive road system and a newly laid 10,000sq ft training pad. It is not hired or shared with any other company and is dedicated to motorcycle training.
- Classrooms are air-conditioned and able to deliver multimedia presentations.
- We do not make false promises. Some training schools will promise a guaranteed pass. However, it is impossible to guarantee a pass in any examination, let alone one administered by the Driving Standards Agency. There is always a catch to these offers which ultimately will leave you out of pocket.
- We do not force you to spend 2 days on a 125cc machine. If you show aptitude and safety by end of day 1, we will transfer you to a 500cc machine before you go home.
- We do not rip students off with 4 hour ‘sessions’. Even though you are receiving only ½ a days' training, you still pay for a full day. We only practice a full training day; the hours being 08.30 hrs to 16.00 hrs.
- We do not flaunt strict DSA rules on Instructor to student ratio. The DSA rule book categorically states a 2:1 ratio at all times on a DAS course. It is quite common for schools to bend this rule so that you end up in a group of 4 for up to two days riding 125cc’s. Not only is this illegal, if there was an accident it is questionable whether you are insured.
- We take great care to maintain dialogue with the CURRENT DSA training staff to keep abreast of new assessment requirements.
- We have been on going training providers to Motorcycle News staff that chose us over 300 other schools in the UK.
- Tea coffee included free
